Use your custom font

Visual Radio Assist makes it easy to enhance your visual content with custom typography. Whether you want to use fonts from Google's library or upload your own branded typefaces, the process is straightforward and accessible to all users.

Supported Font Types

Visual Radio Assist supports two types of custom fonts:
Google Fonts: Access to Google's free, open-source font library with thousands of professionally designed typefaces.
Custom Font Files: Upload your own font files in the following formats:
  • TTF (TrueType Font)
  • OTF (OpenType Font)

How to Add a New Font

Adding fonts to Visual Radio Assist is a simple process that takes just a few moments.

Step 1: Navigate to the Fonts Tab

Open the Settings menu and locate the Fonts tab.

Step 2: Select Your Font Type

Choose between two options based on your needs:
Google Fonts:
  1. Select the "Google Font" option
  1. Use the search field to find your desired font by name
  1. Click to add the font to your library
Custom Fonts:
  1. Select the "Custom Font" option
  1. Click to browse your computer's files
  1. Select one or more TTF or OTF font files
  1. Upload the files to Visual Radio Assist
Tip: You can upload multiple font files at once, which is particularly useful when adding different weights or styles of the same font family (e.g., Regular, Bold, Italic).

Using Your Custom Font in Visuals

After adding a font to your library, you can apply it to any text element in your visual content.

Applying a Font to Text

  1. Navigate to the visual where you want to use your custom font
  1. Select the text element you wish to modify
  1. Locate the Text Property panel
  1. Open the font dropdown menu
  1. Select your newly added custom font from the list
  1. Your text will immediately update with the new typography
