Broadcaster management is where you set up the structure of your broadcaster: its name and logo, its stations, and the studios each station broadcasts from. Open it from Settings → Broadcaster → Manage. Broadcast Managers see every station. Station Managers see the same pages for their own station, under Settings → Station. If your broadcaster has one station, Manage opens that station’s page directly. See User Management for what each role can do.

Change the broadcaster settings

Click Settings at the top of the Manage page to open Broadcaster settings. Only a Broadcast Manager can change these. Click Save to apply the changes.

Create a station

1

Start the wizard

On the Manage page, click Create station in the Stations card.
2

Pick the station type and name

Choose a Station type, then enter the Station name. Everyone at your broadcaster sees the station under this name. You can change it later.
3

Enter the license key

If VRA asks for a license, enter the key you received from Visual Radio Assist.
4

Confirm

Check the summary and click Confirm. Tick Switch to this station after creation to start working in the new station right away.
The Stations card only shows when your license allows more than one station.

Edit or disable a station

Open the menu on a station tile and click Edit, or click Edit station on the station’s own page.

Delete or restore a station

Open the menu on a station tile and click Delete. VRA deletes the station 6 hours later. Until then, the tile shows Scheduled for deletion and a Restore button that cancels the deletion.

Manage studios

Every station has one master studio. Other studios of the station are backups. The Studios card on the Manage page lists all studios of the broadcaster. A station’s own page lists its studios with their server installations. To add a studio, click Create studio on the Manage page, or the Create new studio tile on the station’s page. The wizard asks for a Studio Name and then walks you through installing and connecting the server apps. See Set up a new Core app. Open the menu on a studio to Edit, Connect, Copy studio ID or Delete it.
Deleting a studio removes all its data, detaches its server installations and takes the studio off air. You can’t undo it.

Check a station’s license

The station’s page shows the license status and when it expires. Click Refresh to load the latest status. A Broadcast Manager also sees the license type and key. A station without a license shows Request license.
