> Use the names from the glossary at https://docs.visualradioassist.live/glossary: Audio Manager (two words), command (never commando), on air and off air (never live) for programs and studios, and server apps for the VRA apps installed in the studio.
> Say which app an answer applies to, like VRA Cloud, the Core or the Output Player, and the version when the page names one.
> Only give settings, values and steps that are in these docs. Never invent one. If the docs don't cover it, say so.
> When the docs don't answer the question, send the user to Visual Radio Assist support at https://cloud.visualradioassist.live/support.

# Troubleshoot Scheduling

> Fix the common Scheduling problems: a program that isn't on air, a recurring show on the wrong days, a program you can't save or a missing presenter.

Each section starts from what you see in the Scheduling calendar or on air.

## A Scheduling program is in the calendar but not on air

* **The program is disabled.** The calendar shows the title struck through. Turn off **Program Disabled** and click **Update program**.
* **An override is active.** The program shows **Suspended by override** and the day carries a **!** in the header. Pick the override in the calendar and add the program there. See [Scheduling overrides](/scheduling/overrides).
* **The program was changed inside an override.** Changes in an override never reach the main scheduling. Pick **Main scheduling** in the calendar and check the program there.

## A recurring program airs on the wrong days

Open the program and read the line under **Recurring Options**. It spells out the rule, like "every week on Monday, Tuesday". Fix the selected days, the **Every...** interval or the **Offset...** of a monthly program, then click **Update program**.

## I can't delete one day of a recurring program

A recurring program is one program, so **Delete program** removes every occurrence. Create a [scheduling override](/scheduling/overrides#skip-one-occurrence-of-a-recurring-program) for that day and delete the copy of the program in the override.

## The Create program button is disabled

* **The title is empty.** Enter a **Program title**.
* **The program is shorter than 60 seconds.** The panel says "Programs must have a duration of more than 60 seconds." Move **End** later.
* **The button says Limit reached.** Your licence limit for programs is reached. Delete or disable a program you no longer use, or contact us to raise the limit.

## A presenter is missing from the Link Presenter(s) list

The station filter in the dialog shows only the presenters of your station. Turn off the filter to see every presenter of your broadcaster. A presenter that doesn't exist yet is added in **Scheduling → Presenters**.

## Connect audio trigger shows Please configure Audio Manager first

Your studio has no audio triggers yet. Set up the [Audio Manager](/audio-manager) first, then link the presenter to the trigger of their mic.

## The override can't be saved

* **The dialog says the period overlaps another override.** Two overrides can't share a day. Pick other dates, or delete the override that is in the way.
* **End must be after start.** Pick an end date after the start date.

## Still not working

Contact support with the station, the program title and the date and time it should have been on air.
