> ## Agent Instructions
> Use the names from the glossary at https://docs.visualradioassist.live/glossary: Audio Manager (two words), command (never commando), on air and off air (never live) for programs and studios, and server apps for the VRA apps installed in the studio.
> Say which app an answer applies to, like VRA Cloud, the Core or the Output Player, and the version when the page names one.
> Only give settings, values and steps that are in these docs. Never invent one. If the docs don't cover it, say so.
> When the docs don't answer the question, send the user to Visual Radio Assist support at https://cloud.visualradioassist.live/support.

# Program and presenter settings

> Every field of a Scheduling program and a presenter, plus the program and presenter variables you add under Settings → Outputs → Scheduling.

This page lists every field of a [Scheduling](/scheduling) program and a [presenter](/presenters). For the steps, see [Create a program](/scheduling/create-a-new-program).

## Scheduling program fields

The program panel opens from **Scheduling → Calendar**. Only **Program title** is required.

| Field | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Program title** | The name of the show. Visuals and conditions use it. |
| **Description** | A longer text about the show, for use in Visuals. |
| **Program Disabled** | Takes the program out of the schedule. A disabled program is never on air. |
| **Image** | The program image, picked from the [Media Hub](/media-hub). |
| **Additional Media** | Extra videos from the Media Hub, for use in Outputs. |
| **External Media** | Video links outside the Media Hub, like `https://bucket/file.mp4`. Click **Add** after each link. |
| **Recurring Options** | Repeats the program every week or every month. See [Make a Scheduling program recurring](/scheduling/create-a-new-program#make-a-scheduling-program-recurring). |
| **Start** and **End** | When the program is on air, in the time zone of your station. At least 60 seconds apart. |
| **Presenters** | The presenters of the show, each marked **Host** or **Guest**, with an optional link to the audio trigger of their mic. |

Each program variable you define shows as an extra field at the bottom of the panel.

## Presenter fields

The presenter page opens from **Scheduling → Presenters**. **First name**, **Last name** and **Presenter Station** are required.

| Field | What it does |
| - | - |
| Photo | The presenter's photo, picked from the [Media Hub](/media-hub). |
| **First name** | The first name of the presenter. |
| **Last name** | The last name of the presenter. |
| **Name** | The name Visuals show, like a nickname or the full name. |
| **Presenter Station** | The station the presenter mostly works for. Presenters are shared across the broadcaster. |

Each presenter variable you define shows as an extra field under **Presenter Station**.

## Program and presenter variables

Add your own fields to every program or every presenter in **Settings → Outputs → Scheduling**, like a show hashtag or a presenter's Instagram handle. Click **Add new** next to **Program Variables** or **Presenter Variables**. The value is filled in per program or per presenter, and Visuals can show it.

These variables are separate from station and Visual variables, see [Variables](/variables).
