6 Steps to set up a proper connection with your microphones.
{info} Before you start, make sure there are TriggerItems available. In this way, you are able to trigger a microphone and use a created Visual as a trigger for your microphone.
Connect all your microphone(s) to your VisualRadioAssist Server Computer that you want to trigger on a line level (+0db). You should possibly purchase a (cheap) external USB sound card.
Are all microphone channels recognized correctly by Windows? Check it via Windows -> Sound settings.
Add a new Item via the VisualRadioAssist Server -> Settings -> MICAssist.
Select the sound card and the channel that is connected to the microphone (L / R / Stereo).
Select the Trigger and the correct threshold. We recommend to directly align this threshold with your sound processing and input level.
Adjust the aggressivity of the MICAssist in Settings -> MICAssist -> Options. Sensity determines how fast VRA should respond on sound. Talktime determines the time someone is not required to talk in the microphone.
